An update for myBlogger friends

Hello everyone,
Have you ever wanted something so bad that you could almost taste it, or prayed for something so hard that you could almost feel it? Well, I’ve been praying for a writing job, for two reasons. Reason number one, to supplement my fixed income, and number two, to use my God given talent for writing. Today, my friends, my prayers have been answered. I finally got a temporary freelance writing job for a sports broker called Rushcube. Although the company would rather me write my articles in Google docs, I asked if I could attach the document in Word, and she had no problem with that. My manager even said that she would be happy to paste the document in google docs for me.
I write this little tidbit, to share my good news, and ask you to continue praying for me as I persue this job opportunity. I will keep you posted on my work, and let you know if any other opportunities come available for me. BTW, if anyone needs a freelance blogger to write guest posts, or ghost write for them, I will be happy to write for you. Let me know if I can be of service in the comments below.

Writing inspiration from true crime documentaries

Have you ever watched something on television and found it to be an inspiration for writing? This is happened to me just in the past day or so. My fiancĂ© and I were listening to a documentary about the JonBenet Ramsey case, andThe more questions we had about the case, the more I got inspired I was up writing late last night, after watching the second part of the documentary, and wrote for about two hours of work to get back to bed. This morning we watched a doctor is Dr. Phil interview with Burke Ramsey, JonBenet Ramsey. With all the different edits, we’re still unsure of Who the true killer is, although we’ve heard that he has been found. This is a answer one of the ways that I get inspiration from my fiction, I watching true crime investigations like this, and it also helps me to get the information that I have authentic for my mysteries. If you ever find watching TV shows are listening to documentaries inspires your writing, be sure to take that inspiration and run with it, because that will be the time when you do your best writing. Happy writing, and keep up the good work.

Book review: Things We Keep

I just finished a book entitled Things We Keep, by Sally Hepworth, and it was an amazing book. The narrators who read the book for the NLS talking book program, were finominal! I highly suggest that you get this book on audio book, ebook. or in print. It’s hard to put down, and it’s a book that I will remember for a long time to come
Things We Keep is a book about two young people with different types of dementia, and a lady who works as cook and cleaning lady, who find the truth about love. Anna has been diagnosed with early onset alzheimers disease at the age of 38. She started forgetting things long before her diagnosis, such as the lisense number and make and modle of her car, and other things. She was volunterily placed in Rosalind House, an assisted living facility for seniors, after her youngest nephew was splattered by burning chocolate, while attempting to take the pan off the stove, after the fondu started to burn. While at Rosalind House, she meets Luke, a patient with frontal lobe dementia. Eve is a widow with a young daughter.
When Eve’s husband falsifies financial records, he kills himself before the government can catch up to him, leaving his wife and daughter to suffer alone. Eve is hired as the cook for Rosalind House, and gets to know the patients. Although Anna tells her story from the time before Eve came into the picture, you discover how she and Luke become closer and closer. Although Anna’s brother and Luke’s sister want them to be apart, to keep them safe, they still find ways to be together. Eve is the one to show Jack the truth about what can happen when someone isn’t allowed to be happy.
I won’t spoil the book itself for you, but I can tell you, that you get an idea how devistating it can be for Anna when she looses her memory. Even though this is a work of fiction, it taught me how Alzheimers effects a person’s memory and depth perception. For example, Luke sees the door way in front of him, but high steps over the entrance to another room, because he can’t tell a flat surface from a rased one. I don’t want to spoil it for you, but there is an incident that causes Jack and Luke’s sister Sarah to request that the two be kept apart from one another. I can tell you that once you read this book, you will see the world of the characters, including Eve’s daughter, in a different light. I personally give this book a five star rating, because the author kept me sucked into the story from the beginning.

Happy Belated Thanksgiving

Good morning everyone,
I’d like to wish each of you a belated Happy Thanksgiving, and I hope you have a merry and blessed Christmas of 2016. Although this post is short, I don’t want to leave you wondering when I will post again. I’m in the midst of NaNoWriMo and although I’m behind, I have inspired my boyfriend to begin writing basic stories as well. What does this mean? Well, let’s just say, we write together, whether on the phone, or in person.
Stay tuned, because once I move to Athens, I will write a post about the tree that “owns itself”. So until next time, have a blessed weekend.

It’s time for the Church to Wake up or this Country willgo down in flames!

Good morning everyone,
Today and tomorrow are the two most crucial days in this country, than we’ve ever seen in election history. I have heard that Russia is planning an attack on the united States, via it’s power grid and its computer infrastructure. Tomorrow is election day 2016. What I have to say, does not conform to my usual posts about music, spiritual musings, writing, books, or other such topics. However, I feel led to talk about a more serious matter today, and that is the possible destruction of our nation.
America was build on a solid foundation, and God was our nation’s first love. With the advent of electing President Obama into office, we sent our home land into a perilous downhill slide, down the road to destruction. We all know that Hillary Clinton is planning a worse fate for America, with the promise of allowing immigrants into this country, that could kill us all, and the implimentation of “planned parenthood”, which was founded by Margarette Sanger, which mandates that babies should be killed for practically no reason at all. What I mean by this, is that if a baby has a physical or mental disability, it should be killed. If the baby is born into a poor family, it should be killed, because it would be a financial and physical strain on the parents. Ms. Sanger’s words, not mine, according to what I heard on Frances and Friends on
Donald Trump has his flaws as well, for no man is perfect; however, many people take what he says on television ads, and on news reports out of context and starts spreading horrific rumors. Personally, I believe that God will use Trump to bring this nation of ours back to its first love, the love of God our Heavenly Father, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the son of God. Let me say this people, if you are a born again believer of Christ, it’s time for the church to wake up and stand up for what we believe in. I strongly urge you to fast and pray for the election, and our nation as a whole. If you haven’t already voted early, please do your Christian duty and vote for the leader that will bring this country back to God, because as the song says, WE WANT AMERICA BACK!
Now, there is one final question I want you to seriously search your heart for the answer. Pray about this, and then if you want this country to become a God fearing Nation again, you decide how to cast your vote, but if you want this nation to go by the way of hell fire and brinstone, then you have to decide on who you will vote for. I am not trying to tell you who to vote for, I am just asking you to go out and vote, and make the right decision for this country. The choice you make is between you and god, so are you for God or for the world, the choice is yours.
Blessings to all my dear readers, and let’s join together and pray harder than we’ve ever prayed for our country than ever before, because we strongly need a change for the better. Thank you for letting me share with you what the Holy Spirit has laid upon my heart and God bless each and every one of you today.
Love and Prayers,
